OUR MISSION: The Chatham County Waste Management Department works to promote environmentally sound activities and to provide a clean, safe and efficient program for the management, collection, reduction/recycling and disposal of solid waste.

HOLIDAY HOURS:

Our office will be closed January 19th.

The collection centers will open regular schedule. 

IMPORTANT 2008 DECAL INFORMATION: The current 2008 decals for collection center usage are valid through February 28, 2009.  We shall begin mailing the new green 2009 decals in mid-January to those who have paid their Solid Waste Fees by the January 5th due date.
